JeevanDhara-The Way of Life

JeevanDhara is a non profitable organization founded on the 15th day of August 2012 by a youth group having five persons in a small city named Cuttack in the state of Odisha.

This organization is registered under IGR in accordance with the registration of society act 1860.

The main objectives on which the organization is working are as follows:

1. To promote awareness among the various group of people, young mass & students regarding the bad effects of tobacco, alcohol, drugs, fast food etc.

2. To promote health care facilities, health and sanitation, undertake program to check drug abuse and alcoholism.

3. To take up action for plantation, protection and preservation of coastal ecology forest, wild life and to check environmental decay & devastation.

4. To conduct various research, study and awareness on eradication of filaria, polio, T.B. , cancer, HIV & AIDS and nutrition.

5. To work for the rehabilitation of leprosy, physically disabled person and beggars.

6. To conduct eye camps, dental camps, TB detection camps, family planning camps, blood donation camps and health camps.

7. To cooperate and collaborate with others in the implementation of development programs to educate the youth on national integration, family welfare, population control, reproductive health etc.

8.To help the meritorious, poor, physically challenged students reading in schools and colleges and for their admissions and to purchase books and writing materials.

9. To work for the socio economic and cultural development of children, men and women belonging to the weaker section of the community.

10. To encourage self employment and human resource development.

11.To undertake immediate compassionate measures like relief, research and rehabilitation operations at the time of natural hazards like flood, fire, famine and cyclone.

12. To organise educational programs for pre primary, dropout children education, adult education program etc.

13. To establish library for educational development.

14. To organise social and philanthropic activities such as service to destitute widows, orphans, poor and diseased persons, free distribution of medicines, clothes and financial assistance to them.

15. To organise formal and non formal education programmes for various group of people.

16.To promote social , cultural, educational, intellectual and physical development of financially backward classes.

17. To provide travelling and ambulance facility.

18. To spread adult education, women’s education and basic education in the locality for eradication of illiteracy, child labour and school drop out.

19. To undertake social service activities for the deprived sections of the origination by establishing day care centre and medical aid centre running immunisation programmes etc.

20. To work for the welfare of various animals of the state.
