Institute of Pharmacy Kalyani was established in 1975 for the study of Diploma In Pharmacy under the State Medical Faculty of West Bengal. It is approved by AICTE and PCI. It is based on the subjects of Pharmaceutical Chemistry I, Pharmaceutics I, Pharmacognosy, Physiology, Health Education, Biochemistry (For Part I) and Pharmaceutical Chemistry II, Pharmaceutics II, Hospital Pharmacy, Jurisprudence, Pharmacology and Drug Store (For Part II). Is composed of 2years course. After completion this course, students will have to undergo with 3months (500 hours mandatory) Pharmacy training from any Govt. recognized Hospital or Pharmacy or Medical Shop.
