With a Vision to create a Centre of Excellence in Management Education and a Mission to place India on the Marketing and Management map of the world, Institute of Marketing & Management started a humble beginning in the year 1969.

IMM journey since the year 1969 is a living example of how perseverance and hard work leads to great success stories. Seeded by Late Dr. Jagjit Singh, a Fulbright Scholar with a Ph.D. in Business Organization & Management from University of Nebraska, USA, IMM was set up to support the industry by developing and nurturing the Marketing and Management Skills of the future Managers.

Completing its 45th year on the 14th August' 2014, Institute of Marketing & Management today is one of the premier management educational institutions in India, recognized by AICTE, Ministry of HRD, Government of India with many firsts to its credits! As a National Marketing Organization, it was affiliated to the Asia Pacific Marketing Federation (APMF) and the World Marketing Association (WMA). IMM has been a pioneer in implementing many new ideas and innovations for the last three decades, such as, organizing Top Management Club, Global Development Centre, Awards of Excellence, Management Development Programmes, Research Projects etc. One of the global events that IMM hosts annually is the World Marketing Congress (WMC). IMM has been conducting World Marketing Congress (WMC) for the last 39 years as a part of its commitment to contribute to the scientific and marketing revolution in the country through conferences and research work on socio economic issues.

Located in one of the finest Institutional locations of New Delhi, Capital of India, IMM stands high with its state-of-the-art infrastructure and best in class faculties in all Business areas such as Marketing, International Business, Human Resources, Advertising and PR, Finance, Operations and Information Technology. In addition, IMM has a strong presence of thousands of its Alumni as an extended family placed comfortably all across the globe.

Today, blessed and enriched with the legacy gifted to us by our Respected Founder, Late Dr. Jagjit Singh and under the able guidance of our dynamic and charismatic, new Executive President and Mentor, Dr. Gaganjit Singh, IMM will continue to stride high and create many more success stories in the years to come.
