What we do ?

The Institute of Banking is the largest professional institute in Maharashtra. We are a community of 2,000 members who work in banking and in both international and local financial.

Professional development of our members through education is at the heart of what we do. We are a not-for-profit organisation.

The Institute provides university-level banking education programmers and related services. These enable our members to achieve and sustain their professional qualifications and continuing professional development – essential to meet customer and regulatory expectations.

More than 500 of our members are currently studying with us.

We get you qualified to work in banking and financial services. Our qualifications, where appropriate, meet the Reserve Bank Of India regulatory requirements, including the Minimum Competency Code.

We currently have more than 30 programmers ranging from Professional Certificates

Innovating to help you
Innovation is one of our core values. We constantly strive to introduce new ideas, new education programmers and services, and to make things better for our members.

The Institute has developed new programmers to achieve the highest levels of quality, relevance and recognition – both nationally and internationally. A recent example is our Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning, which is the only qualification in recognized by the worldwide Financial Planning Standards Board for its Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation. There are 147,000 CFP professionals in 24 countries, including india.

Active in India
We are an active member of the Bank Training Network (BTN), which brings together the national banking institutes in india.
Its vision is to become the standard-setting body for the accreditation, certification and qualification of knowledge, skills and competencies in the Indian financial services sector.
