IEEE - Habib University Student Branch

Habib University is a Chartered as a degree granting institution in the province of Sindh, Pakistan. It is recognized by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan.
Pakistan Engineering Council, which is the is charged with the responsibility of accrediting engineering programs by the Government of Pakistan, has allowed Habib University to start an Electrical Engineering degree program. The program is well on its way to full accreditation with the next couple of years when it produces its first cohort of graduates.
We will make sure that IEEE on our campus is the way to go through when students look for internships and other activities mentioned above. This can be accomplished by carefully chalking out a simple process to get interviewed and employed with our already partnered industries. We are also planning to take professors on board with leading a lot of this, and that will also help formalizing the whole process.
