Hooghly Institute of Technology, having its location in the district of Hooghly, in the hinterland of Kolkata suburb is a reputed premier Institution of the Govt. of West Bengal and is engaged in proliferation of technical education ever since its emergence in the year 1952.It provides proper Educational Environment to “foster the pursuit of excellence” in such a way that each of the students can reach the maximum scholastic and personal excellence. Presently the Institute offers the Diploma in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical and Chemical Engineering.
The Institute is used to organize regular Industrial Institute Interaction program through annual seminar, which have opened a universal arena of industrial world to the matured and skilled students. On the basis of this interaction the training of the students was directed towards the industry’s aptitude.
