High Octane Café is an affordable luxury!

But it’s not just about the ambience and extra services, HO is THE place for true coffee lovers. It is one of the few cafés in Indore serving quality coffee. We use Arabica Coffees with origins from the Bababudan giris of Chickmagalur, blended with Robusta to fuse the rich, bittersweet, and slightly acidic notes. Our coffee provides a smooth and mellow taste with rich flavor. To ensure the best quality, we have the best machinery as well; CMA Astoria coffee machine imported from Italy, Mahlkoenig coffee beans grinder from US and Vitamix Blender from US.

MBA from IIMK(2011 batch) and BE from IET DAVV (2009 batch). During my second year of PGP, as a convener of Entrepreneurship Cell, I realized that I was passionate about entrepreneurship and consequently spent considerable time trying to come out with a viable business proposition. The idea of starting a Cafe at IIM Kozhikode was a starting step to a dream of establishing a pan India retail chain of Cafes.
Hailing from an agricultural background in MP I knew very little about coffee or of enterprise in books. However I decided to take the plunge and signed out of placement process. I underwent several trainings and workshops on the coffee supply chain, quality & processes. Subsequently with the aid of a fellow schoolmate Abhishek Chacha we started High Octane Book Cafe.

I am an engineering graduate with over five years of experience in software Industry. Hailing from a business family I always had the entrepreneurial itch. However in order to fulfill the wishes of parents I took up a job after engineering. After being in IT for 3 long years, I realized that my passion does not lie in software. Having run many part time businesses during college time, I had the experience and excitement of running a business. Finally after brainstorming the idea with my childhood friend over a cup of Coffee, the story of High Octane cafe started.
I kept continuing with my job for 2 years in order to provide financial support to cover up initial losses. I finally quit my job in and joined the venture on a full time basis.
