Harmony Music Academy - TLY

Harmony Music Academy is one of the most elite and professional music institute in North Kerala, founded in the year of 2010 at Thalassery. We focus in providing long term schooling opportunity to our students to learn a variety of musical instruments includes Piano,Keyboard, Guitar and Violin. The academy provides students a chance to develop a lifelong appreciation of music and an enthusiasm for learning, all in a nurturing environment with supportive teachers.
We specialise in teaching childrens, adults and also teachers & professionals.The Lessons used for training cover all aspects of practical skills such as technique, repertoire, sight reading and improvisation etc. and Music theory lessons cover music writing skills, harmony and ear-training etc.

Our Institute is an authorised centre for Music Examinations conducted by Trinity College, London. We conduct Trinity Music Examinations at our institute every year for aspirants from North Kerala. Students pursuing our training programs are eligible for attending International Music Exams.We provide special training for such students who are ready to attend International Music Exams.

We keep our study groups small, coupled with a friendly and caring approach. This enables our teachers to engage directly with each individual. The teaching style aims to be positive, encouraging and sympathetic to the challenges which students encounter. We aim to inspire, encourage and equip our students to succeed by delivering relevant and innovative education of the highest quality.

Mr.Muhammed Sirajudheen Backer, An accomplished musician and a multi instrumentalist is the Founder and Director of Harmony Music Academy,Thalassery. He is a dedicated music teacher who has more than 15 years of experience in playing and teaching the various music instruments. He is very experienced in teaching students of all different playing levels and ages, Also coaches and prepares the students appearing for the music exams conducted by the Trinity College, London. His students receive training that will teach them how to become independent players as well as independent learners for all musical interests. He has also showcased his musical expertise in conducting music orchestras and compositions.
