This proverb reflects the wisdom of the people who have been connected to the nature so closely and understand the intricacies of life on the planet. There are no big words like 'sustainability', 'climate change', and 'carbon footprints', etc., but these words of advice come from mere understanding of the nature and their true love for all beings on earth!

There is something intriguing about being in the nature, being with the animals, insects, birds and huge trees around that gives us wisdom and the means for its conservation. How many of us have this opportunity in the urban life? How many children have this opportunity to be in the nature that will truly inspire its conservation than through the books and the curriculum that might talk about life in the forest? We believe that if we want to create a future generation that truly wants to conserve the nature then we have to provide them the opportunity to be in nature, understand it, feel it and explore it.

We at Happily Outdoors strive for nature conservation by creating an opportunity for the young minds to be in nature. We organize nature camps for children as well as adults to reconnect them with nature. Our camp site Malajodi farms in Kukkavu village is located in the Western Ghats region that is declared as a biodiversity hotspot by UNESCO. This makes it ideal for exploration of the nature in a safe, and secure environment. We also engage local villagers and children who have the rich knowledge on the local flora and fauna. We do our best to create an experience that will inspire the conservation of nature!
