OUR LAKE HOSTEL, UDAIPUR

Stay in the heart of the Old City, next to the 400-year-old Royal City Palace

Gypsy Child Hostel is a neat Bed and Breakfast offering, set on the banks of the Lake Pichola. It's a boutique space with breathtaking views that's tastefully done, inspired by the Palace decor.

Neighbours to the 400-year-old Royal City Palace and just a 100 metres walk away from the Palace entry gate, it's an ideal starting point for a traveler.

Chill on our terrace with your favourite book or simply enjoy the surroundings. If you are lucky you will spot parrots, squirrels, and langoors during the day!

Our location is our favorite part. We are super close to all attractions. Be it Bagore Ki Haveli, Jagdish Temple, Lake Palace Road or Hathi Pol Bazaar, you can do everything on foot.


Accommodation
We have three dorms ARKA, NOOR & NAGDA with 6 bunk beds each.

You can also choose to bunk at ARAVALLI, a private room (two bunk beds) with a private balcony.

Morning
We offer a complimentary cold breakfast to kickstart your day, consisting of a simple and nutritious spread at our Tea Room.

Our concierge will be happy to recommend you the best places which we have personally visited and liked.


Enjoy Free Wifi
We have Wifi available in the tea room, dorms and terrace to keep you connected.


Open Air Movie Nights
You can chill at our terrace in the evening and enjoy a movie at our open-air theatre under the stars, on request.


Besides our top foreign language picks, we will screen the all-time favorite, 1983 Bond film ’Octopussy’, shot in Udaipur.


Luggage Room
We offer complimentary luggage storage during your stay. If you would like to store your luggage after you check-out, then we can arrange that at a nominal cost.


Laundry
We also offer you on-request laundry services at an additional cost.


How to reach?
We are 45 minutes away from the Maharana Pratap Airport and 15 minutes away from the Udaipur Railway Station.


It's a 2-minute walk from the City Palace Gate.Since it's an Old City, it has it's own limitations (we consider it an old world charm!) i.e. a steep, downhill walk. So if you need a hand with your bags, then let us know in advance and we will be happy to assist you.


OUR MOUNTAIN HOSTEL, SAUR VILLAGE, SANKRI RANCE (UTTARAKHAND)

Gypsy Child is a Neat Himalayan Wooden Mountain Hostel in picturesque Saur Village in Sankri, Garhwal, Uttarakhand
We are located 100mts away from the Kedarkantha Trek Start Point and bang on the Har-Ki-Dun Road.

The hostel has endless mountain views and farms and apple orchards surrounds it. We have both shared and private (URL HIDDEN) Child is an essence really, a feeling, a vibe!

So come live a Tranquil Mountain Life, stare at the Mighty Himalayas, Find yourself by getting Lost or Just Be.

The location
Gypsy Child has a secluded location in the sense that it is away from the crowd yet everything is in walking distance. The Saur village is about 300mtrs and Sankri Market about a half a kilometre.

Guest access
you can use the kitchen and the Tea Room, where there is a projector so that you can enjoy your travel photos or videos or just chill with a movie

Interaction with the guests
One of us is generally on premise to always answer your questions and help you arrange treks, travel, village walks, etc

Other things to note
Saur Village is base to atleast 16 beautiful treks.
