In 1970, GNC was established for providing formal education to the young females. It was the far sightedness of S.Prakash Singh Badal then C.M. who took initiative.
of starting a women college in rural area. In year 2000, the college was undertaken by Shriomani Gurudawara Prabandhak Committee and LMC was formed for running of the institution. Dr.(Mrs.)Tejinder Kaur Dhaliwal became principal in year 2002, the institution is progressing by leaps and bounds. This progression is visible in all aspects of the college wether new buildings, fully equipped laboratories, highly qualified faculty members and increasing number of students
