GRT Group of Educational Institutions, was promoted by SRDR Trust in 2008. GRT College of Education (GCE), the crown jewel of the GRT Group of Educational Institutions, was formed by SRDR Trust.

Located on the Chennai-Tirupathi Highway in Tiruttani, perched amidst a sprawling 87-acre plot, the GRTIET has a built-in area of 27.43 acres, comprising the contemporary architecture befitting an educational institution of global standards.

Approved by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to Anna University, the institution provides quality education in engineering, which molds students into technologically sound, efficient, creative and responsible global citizens, capable of engaging with gen next challenges.

The institute is established by the SRDR Trust, governed by visionary extraordinaire, philanthropist Shri. G. Rajendran.
