Green Track Foundation-GTF

GREEN TRACK FOUNDATION-GTF is a Non-Profit, Non-Government Organization (NGO),Founded in 2013 and registered as a NGO. It’s founded by like-minded young people who can operate independently. Our group consists people age of 20+ with a loads of potentials. We came into existence with the sole motive of bringing awareness in public about concentrating on the depleting environment in India. Environment is a very difficult area to fight for, especially if it involves the forest area, ground water, surface water resources.
The reducing forest area, non-protection of lakes is a huge concern for the survival of humanity.One cannot blame just the government and politicians for the situation. We citizens too are responsible for the amount of garbage, e-waste we generate.
We have planned & successfully running a series of activities that brings awareness in young children who are the pillars of our nation. Planting trees in & around the school areas, government offices, hospitals & alongside of highways. We simply respect the efforts of “SaaluMaradaThiummakka” who dedicated her life for planting trees alongside of roads. This will help in producing good amount of oxygen & shade.
Our aims:
1. Educating rural people on the characteristics and uses of local flora; watershed development and sustainable agriculture; documenting medicinal plants in hospital & school areas; promoting nurseries and herbal gardens in rural areas; encouraging low-cost solar energy.
2. Watershed development programs in villages; a forum for promoting, maintaining, improving NGOs and to provide financial or any other assistance to individuals, groups, societies, associations/institutions or voluntary agencies; training in technical aspects of natural resource development.
3. Eradicating of ecological imbalance by educating the urban people to not to harm nature.
