GGM is started with a great vision and with much Fasting and Prayer. GGM is the Bible-based, Christ-centered and Mission-oriented ministry. GGM is fully committed to win Orissa/India for Christ. Through a multi-faceted ministry of formal and informal training, evangelistic outreach, church planting, medical missions, literature publication and distribution and social welfare projects such as caring for orphans, widows, blind and physically handicapped, we obey and fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus Christ "Go preach and make disciples".
Grace Gospel Ministries (GGM) is committed to reach the unreached at any cost and preach the good news of our Lord Jesus Christ throughout Orissa and its neighboring states/India until all have heard.


• Meeting the basic needs of underprivileged children and families
• Establishing orphanages, care centers and medical centers for widows and the physically disabled
• Providing basic education and medical help to lead a healthy lifestyle
• Evangelization, church planting and Train youngsters…etc






Statement of Faith:
1. The Bible is the inspired and the only infallible and authoritative written word of God. (II Timothy 3:16)
2. There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father God the Son God the Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4, Mathew 28:19)
3. In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ in His virgin Birth in His sinless life in His miracle in His vicarious and atoning death in His bodily resurrection in His ascension to the right hand of the Father in His personal future return. (John 1:1)
4. The blessed hope the rapture of the church at Christ's coming. (Titus 2:13)
5. The only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ. (John 14:6)
6. Regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for the personal salvation. (Titus 2:13)
7. In water baptism (Mathew 28:19)
8. The redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer. (I Peter 2:24)
9. The baptism in the Holy Spirit according to Acts 2:4 is given to believers who ask for it.
10. In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation. (Rev. 20:11-15.)


Pr.Varughese Cherian, s/o Mrs. & Pr.V.T.Varughese, born and brought up in kerala came to Orissa in 1999 July with the help of New life Pentecostal Churches, Visakhapatnam. Cherian received the call of God, dedicated for ministry when he was in Delhi with a secular job in 1996.He came to COTR Theological seminary for the theological studies. In 1999, When an Australian missionary Graham Stains and his two sons burnt alive in Baripada, Manoharpur, Mayurbunj district in Orissa, Cherian decided to minister in this state by the guidance from God. In 2000, he married an Oriya girl, Ipsita and she became the translator and a great help in the Ministry. By God's Grace, planted more than 13 churches and in 2001, the family shifted to Ganjam district due to high opposition in Baripada. Cherian family started to visit many places of Orissa, conducting open air revival meetings and planted many other churches in different areas.


Orphanage Home:
In mission field, cherian family find that lot of children’s are without food, cloth and education etc…And many children’s are orphan, their parents died due to T.B,Malaria…..This young couple started to pray for the help from heaven to give life at least to some children. And they took 7 girls in 2005 from different fields. In 2006, God open the way for some more boys and girls to add to the home and now GGM have 14 girls and 16 boys in home. GGM give them food, cloth and shelter and sending them to school, paying tuition and preparing the kids to have a good future with the help of Lord Jesus.

Bible School:
In Orissa there are 62 tribes and there 62 languages of their own. So it is not easy learn all the languages and communicate with all the people. Cherian family started to seek the Lord's help to open the doors for some young men to be trained for the ministry works in Orissa.With much prayer, they started the training school in 2006 with 14 young men. And within two years 17 students graduated and 14 of them are working with GGM. Now Grace Gospel ministries have 27 pastors in different areas of Orissa

Pray and Support:
1) Orphan children Rs.1200 ($30) each include food, shelter, education, medical and basic needs.
2) Bible school student Rs.1500 ($38) each.
3) Evangelist Rs.1500-2000 ($38) each
4) Bicycle Rs.4000 ($80)
5) For a Two wheeler Motor Bick Rs.50000 ($1250)
6) Four wheeler for village ministry Rs.700,000 ($ 16,250) for new and Rs.300,000 ($7,500) for a used one.
7) An Ambulance vehicle to collect street people (homeless) to medical facility, it costs Rs.275,000 ($6,875) with registration.
8) Film project for film ministry Rs.80000 ($2000)
9) For widows and Old aged Rs.1500 ($38)
10) Street people (a homeless) Rs.2500 ($63)
11) For youth seminars Rs.450 ($12) each youth to attend seminar which includes food and lodging.
