Govt Sr Sec School Ghimana - Jind

GSSS GHIMANA (JIND) is one of the leading Educational Institutions of District Jind designed for the dedicated teaching and learning of the students or “Pupils” under the guidance and directions of well-qualified, experienced and dedicated lecturers and teachers. Most of the schools have a common system of formal education which is deemed compulsory, but ours is an Institution where not only formal education but the socio-cultural, psycho-spiritual, ethnolinguistic as well as physical and patriotic qualities of the students are also being developed regularly.
It has an eco-friendly, pollution free and lush green environment. Initially, it was established as a Primary School in 1969. Then it was upgraded as a Middle School in 2000 and as a High School in 2006. Finally, it was upgraded as a Senior Secondary School in 2009. It is located 10 kms from District Headquarters to the East of Jind-Bhiwani Highway in village Ghimana (Jind) having a population of about 4500.

The school is achieving its glorious goals with successful co-ordination of SMC/SMDC/PTA/Gram Panchayat and dedicated and hardworking Principal & teaching staff.
