Government Institute Of Forensic Science, Aurangabad

Government Institute of forensic Science is housed in the campus of Institute of Science Aurangabad, which is a Premiere Institute imparting Post Graduate Teaching and Research since 1974. A spirit of research seeking solutions to the problems, besetting mankind, a great quest to venture into techniques leading to path breaking innovations in the frontiers of science, has been the theme of research and development programs at the Institute. The Institute is in a picturesque vicinity of Aurangabad caves near Nipat Niranjan Temple.
Government Institute of forensic Science has well furnished laboratories and one Central Instrumentation Laboratory equipped with modern instruments. It has its own library with more than 600 books. Seperate Boy's and Girl's hostel facility is provided to needy students. Meritorious students are awarded with Central and State Government scholarships.
Institute has a team of 17 qualified teachers, 16 Laboratory staff members and 11 supporting staff members.
