Gossaigaon is one of the small towns of Assam, India. This is a sub-divisional headquarters of Kokrajhar district . The inhabitants are diverse, religiously. This place is well connected by Ground transportation and rail roads, hence is a good business place. It has a small river, and forested areas which include such saleable trees as Shorea robusta, Tectona grandis . Mornai Tea Estate is also important.
