Vikhroli was envisaged to be a new modern garden township that was created keeping “Welfare” of Godrej employees in mind. In 1953, 90 tenements were ready along with two factory sheds. The next sixty years witnessed the transformation of Vikhroli from marshy lands into a green industrial township abundant with trees and plants which have no parallel in and around Mumbai for its natural and unpolluted environment.
Residential Township spread over Pirojshanagar, Vikhroli consists of three colonies. The Hill side, Station Side and Creek Side, comprising of more than 4000 flats and few bungalows.
