While the “global city” tag has improved the lives and life-style of some of us in Bengaluru it has come at the cost of the quality of life for all of us. If we don’t live consciously, our cities are in danger of being unable to sustain a comfortable life for its inhabitants. So, what is sustainability and what makes local “sustainable”? Simple, we each have to live in a way that does not adversely affect our immediate environment and the planet in general, and we must be mindful of the fact that each one of us is intrinsically linked to a community and environment we live in so how one eats, dresses, lives and has fun impacts our own health, our community and our environment.

Go Native intends to demystify “sustainability” and bring the Native and the Local back in style. Local farm produce, Local flavours, Local textile, Local design, Local environment, Local everything...all this means a lower carbon footprint and a healthier more fulfilled life for everyone.
