More about Global Tibetan Student Union

Brief introduction of GTSU.
The history of human civilization has proved that the unity is power. Here We, Tibetan students, have come up to be united as one under the umbrella of this Union " Global Tibetan Student Union" based on three pillars of unity, education and motivation among the youths and humanity at large.

This union is initially named. "Let Open The Door To The College" as a voluntary team and have been started by the college students to help and guide +2 graduates of 2016 from various Tibetan schools in India as there are often bitter memories of hardships and difficulties for many of our Tibetan college students in making the right choice and getting to the right colleges just after finishing school life. The members of our voluntary team initially consists of a number of college students who are taking various professional courses in different colleges across India and USA. We interact with the students in providing help and guidance by using the privileges of modern social networks and provide the juniors an opportunity to talk directly with senior students and professionals according to the choices of their own professional course and colleges. More than 700 students have contacted us for the last two months and we did our best for them through various programs to get on their right track.

With the grand success of our cooperation and encouragements from those students who received our helps and guidance , we are fully dedicated and determined to continue our voluntary service to unite the youths and educate each other in the sense of brother and sisterhood. We also motivate ourselves, the youths, to take more responsibility in our society and make the world a better place.

We mark today, 6th July, as the day on which we found Global Tibetan Student Union . We consider that GTSU is a birthday gift and deep gratitude to his holiness the 14th Dalai Lama on his 81st birthday for his tireless life-long work for the cause of Tibet and the world peace. This is also a sign that now we, the youths, are coming up to take our own responsibility towards our community and the world at large.

GTSU is not here to compete with anyone individually as well as organizationally. We are here to provide our sincere voluntary services to those people in need, especially to the students and cooperate with anyone who work for the education of humanity and the betterment of the world.

It is often a bitter truth in our society that many of us see the need for change and hope for things to happen but most of us wait for someone to make that change for us and wasted our time and energy. Now, it is high time for us, the youths, to make ourselves that someone who make the change and let things to happen. We will play a bigger role to educate our society and humanity under the bright light of love and compassion to make the world a better place for all of us.

Dear brothers and sisters, through this organization we will unite as one and move forwards for a bigger cause.
Through this organization, we will rise our voice for a universal education for all humanity and use our own learning to help each other for a bigger success.
Through this organization, we will motivate ourselves to live not only for our own life but for our people and the humanity at large.
Ladies and gentleman, if anyone of you who believe in the power of unity and the purpose of education, let us join our hands together for this common good and work together to light up the life of others to make our society and the world a better place so that everyone on this planet can live with a life of love, joy and success. So let us unite to show the power of youth and set an example of possibility for the mankind.
With much regards and respects
