Government Intermediate Colleges (GIC) are state-run higher secondary schools in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. The GIC in Allahabad is one of the oldest schools in Uttar Pradesh providing higher secondary education. It is affiliated with the UP Board of Secondary Education, Allahabad (Uttar Pradesh Madhyamic Shiksha Parishad, Allahabad). GIC Allahabad, provides education from class 6th to 12th in Hindi medium.
Many personalities of India went to school at GIC Allahabad. Examples are Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya and Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi and Dr. Madhavan, Director of ISRO.
