1.Overview
The school has a strength of over 500 students and the curriculum is based on CBSE directives.
The school has laboratories for physics, chemistry, biology, computers and maths. The school libraries are well equipped with necessary books. Apart from these, the school has state-of-art facilities for recreational activities and other extra-curricular activities.
Apart from curriculum, G.D. Lal High School gives due importance to extra-curricular activities too, facilitating the overall development of its students. For that purpose, the students are divided into four houses.The students regularly participate in various inter-house activities which pervades over all disciplines including social-cultural, sports, technical etc..

The school had been established by Late Shree Subodh Kumar Sinha after getting retired from his service as a government teacher in 2011.
