Gujarat Chamber of Commerce Business Women Wing From Roots to Wings - Celebrating Empowerment with 2015 Theme as #MakeItHappen - Growth, Success, Business, Women Empowerment & Digital Presence. The acronym GCCI Bww (Business Women Wing) started on 10th July 1985, Inaugurated by Smt.

Sobha Nehru, wife of Shri B. K. Nehru, H.E. the then Governor of Gujarat. In the year 2011, the scope and operations of the Business Women Committee has been expanded and the same as been declared and structured as a separate Business Women Wing.

The main objective of the Bww is :

* To foster friendly Business community.

* To Enhance Economic Development of Women in Business.

* To effectively help to project the image of the business community in the civic, social, economic and other spheres.

* To promote the social, economical, cultural and educational interests of business community.

* To provide a common platform on economical, social, cultural and educational subjects and pursue their problems affecting trade and industry as also profession with authorities concerned.

* To organize Seminars, conferences, Exhibitions, etc. on the subjects relating to women and their economic betterment.

* Create Interactive B2G / B2B / B2C Environment 

*Provide Knowledge Platforms for Skill Development

* Digital Presence and help Women with Technology use and help them to be tech savvy, supporting Digital India Campaign

* Create new Mind sets for Entrepreneurship for #MAKE IN INDIA PRODUCTS to support Govt. Make In India campaign for

Branding India.

* Networking - Making connections, the right move.

* Bww runs Business Clinic - Help centre for Women Entrepreneurs providing guidance to start Business and Help in various Business related issues.
