HISTORY
Govt.Appavupillai High School(GAPHS) was established in the year 1920.The school consisted of classes from 5 to 10 till 1988.In the year 1989 Upper Primary(UP) section is bifurcated and continued to function in the High School Campus.High school section was shifted to the new double storyed building constructed in the place used as playground 500metre away from the original campus.Only high school section (classes 8 to 10) was functioned till the year 2000.In the year 2001 the school is upgraded to Higher Secondary School.
