Film Making Society Of Nit-Jsr

This is an attempt to take film-making in our college to the next level.Although it's been over a decade since Director's Cut was introduced at OJASS, we haven't covered much ground.We are here to address the issues which are responsible for it..If IIT BOMBAY has its Silverscreen, IIT MADRAS has Media Club and NIT TRICHY Frappe.One look at the movies they make and we will know what we are missing.They too are engineering students like us if anything ,supposedly even more "studious".
For good movies to come up we need good efforts to be rewarded.Only then can we encourage young students from 1st years and coming generations to raise the bar even further.
..I had been with my friends at IIT KGP for a few days and all I saw was extra curricular activities.Maybe that's where all the creativity of IITians spring up from.Let's not be bounded by mediocrity.
One of the other important things is the lack of communication between fellow directors and actors.More discussions will only help in broadening our visions and increase the mutual trust and respect that's clearly missing.It's time to come out of our shells.When it comes to talent we are in no way inferior to ANY OTHER IITs OR NITs.Let's show them we can.I have a feeling this is the beginning of a beautiful journey with you all.
