The Federation of International Students Associations of Bangalore (FISA-B) is a viable and diverse community of young, energetic, visionary, and revolutionary international students pursuing several academic and research disciplines within and around the exotic city of Bangalore.
The organization was conceived at the initiative and support of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations – Bangalore (ICCR-Bangalore). It has since grown to become one of the major international student community organizations with active involvement of student members coming from different parts of the world.
FISA-B’s fraternity transcends all national and cultural barriers. It is a non-profit volunteer organization that relies on academic and professional skills of its committed, innovative, creative, and dedicated members of the international student community in Bangalore. It brings together all the ICCR, self-supporting scholars, and its alumni.
Currently, the organization has been enjoying a full representation from a rainbow of its international students members coming from several countries including Afghanistan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, Central African Republic (CAR), Cote D’Ivoire, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Fiji, Germany, Ghana, Guyana, Indonesia, Iran, Italy, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kyrghystan, Lebanon, Maldives, Mauritius, Mongolia, Mozambique, Morocco, Myanmar, Namibia, Nepal, Nigeria, Oman, Palestine, Rwanda, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Syria, Tajikistan, Tanzania, Thailand, Turkmenistan, Uganda, United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Yemen, and Zambia.
