Sindhupalchok is one of the seventy-five Districts of Nepal, and is the largest among the eight Districts of Bagmati Zone one in the Central Development Region. Sindhupalchok District covers an area of 2542square kilometers and is close to Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal. Chautara is the administrative center of the District. The Arniko Highway, also called Kodari Highway, (114 km) extending from Kathmandu to Kodari links this district with Nepal- Tibet of China border.

Sindhupalchok is rich in natural and tourism resources. The terrain of the beautiful District is rich in natural diversity and posses a wide variety of tourism's attraction.
