European Union in Nepal

The European Union's political and economic relations with Nepal were established in 1973 and are guided by its fundamental principles to achieve peace, stability, democracy, human rights and prosperity. Their goal is the achievement of peace, stability, democracy, human rights and prosperity. Except for consular tasks, the Delegation of the European Union in Kathmandu is working as an Embassy does; it is a diplomatic mission representing the European Union (EU) to Nepal together with the 28 Member States of the European Union.
