Namaste and welcome to Eleday, a sanctuary for 30 beautiful female elephants in the heart of Jaipur. My name is Push and I realized my dream of owning an elephant farm in 2011 after quitting my job and deciding to devote myself to preserving the animals that I love. My family of Muhuts (elephant riders) has been involved with elephants for over 5 generations, having worked as muhuts for the Royal Family. When the Royal Family stopped using elephants in 1957 when Rajasthan became a Republic, the lives of many elephants deteriorated. My family always emphasized treating the elephants with love and care and today I am bringing that tradition to you at Eleday. Come play with the happiest elephants in Jaipur in a lush green environment that will surely bring out your inner child! Meet Basanti, a 30 year old elephant whose smile will warm your heart, Sakenia, a 32 year old that is as playful as a toddler, or Jaya, a 34 year old with eyes that will make you feel pure love.
