EGREE Foundation

''EGREE Foundation'' is an initiative of Government of India and Government of Andhra Pradesh through UNPD-GEF Project: Mainstreaming Coastal and Marine Biodiversity Conservation into Production Sectors in the East Godavari River Estuarine Ecosystem (EGREE), Andhra Pradesh.

EGREE Foundation is a registered society under Andhra Pradesh Societies. Registration Act , 2001 realizing Output 1.1 of the GoI-GoAP-UNDP-GEF Godavari Project and is the first governance model established on experimental basis for the conservation of coastal and marine biodiversity in India by involving corporate, Industries and other production sectors that are operating in and around such biodiversity rich eco-fragile regions like EGREE.
