ECR Speedway

ECR Speedway is a new generation Karting Track managed and operated by R-Factor Institute Of Motorsports (OPC) Pvt Ltd in association with ECR Speedway

R Factor has done the design and implementation of the facility and is operating and managing the facility on a day to day basis.

The facility is for Recreational Karting for the general public and the motor sporting enthusiast as well as conducting of the KIP Level 1 & Level 2 Training Programs on weekends ( Kart Induction Program ).

The Karting track has many configurations with the longest configuration being 600 meters in length and 6 meters in width. The track is equipped with all the safety equipment such as bolted tire barriers and soft impact bags, medical kits, trained marshals, safety flags and protective bumper systems on the karts. The surface is made of high grip tarmac which will provide for better braking and cornering grip levels.

The facility currently provides its customers with karts of different power outputs as well as in different sizes. Kids from the age of 5 will have karts suitable for them. The current range of Karts that will be operational at the circuit are :
Baby Karts : 5 bhp
Junior/Senior Karts : 7 bhp, 9 bhp, 18 bhp and 24 bhp

There will be a grading system in place which will permit the regular karters to move up the bhp levels post meeting certain performance and safety level criteria laid down by the management.

ECR Speedway will also be conducting regular training programs headed by trained Instructors for the young kids as well as for the regular karting enthusiast who want to learn the correct techniques of karting thereby giving them more value for the money they will spend at the facility.
These programs will be on the weekends in the mornings and will be supervised by qualified Instructors.
In addition to the Karts, the facility will also have 2 state of the art racing simulators for the racing buff to race on all the F1 Tracks and also race against each other. ECR in due course will add on more of these machines and start the ECR Speedway Simulator Racing Championship. Apart from the Simulators, ECR Speedway also plans to introduce in due course High end Cricket Bowling machines in Indoor nets, RC Racing cars and Battery Operated Cars for the Tiny Tots.

The track timings will be from 12 Noon to 11 PM on weekdays and from 11 AM to 11 PM on weekends. The track will also have the state of the art Timing System for customers to note their lap times.

ECR Speedway is on the East Coast Road, Uthandi Village and 500 meters before the Toll Booth on the main road.

The pricing for a 5 minute session is as follows:

Baby Kart - 5bhp ( Ages 7 to 10 ) - Rs 250
7 Bhp Adult Kart - Rs 330
9 Bhp Adult Kart - Rs 400
13 Bhp Twin kart- Rs 480
