East and West School

East & West started in Patna by a group of young men led by some teachers of Patna University in 1979 as an experiment in education of the young children. With passage of time it grew into a full fledged middle school which became the first organization and the nucleus of East & West Educational Society when it was registered in April 1987. While the secondary section got transferred to a rural set up where an independent institution soon came up, the urban school continues to run in an experimental mode even now.
