e-Merge IMI New Delhi

India is steadily turning into a startup nation – it’s a clamor being heard endlessly like never before! We discuss startups all the time- over coffee, in the metro or at work. Our nation has over 4200 startups today and more are emerging as we talk.

We, the students at IMI, New Delhi, are coming together to conduct “E-Merge”, a conclave that is dedicated to the startup ecosystem and the people running the show.

With India becoming the youngest country of the decade, entrepreneurship is being said the most efficient tool in the progress of the economy. The overall growth of the nation will be marked by the new enterprises coming up in every sector. In such a scenarios, it is important to provide the best guidance possible to the budding entrepreneurs, so that they can go ahead and make the Indian dream possible.

E-merge 2015 was a huge success. Speakers from eminent startups, our sponsors and the footfall of the event got us stupendous feedback and some much treasured learnings.

Not only did students from IMI attend it but the event was evidence to students from other b-shools, startup enthusiasts, media persons and the like.

E-merge 2017 aims to be grander and play host to startup honchos as well as venture capitalists.
E- merge will host entrepreneurs from different sectors explaining each and every aspect of their journey from how they came with the idea to reaching the level of sustenance they currently are at.

E-Merge will also host founders and senior executives from leading start-ups to discuss the problems and possible solutions to the gripping the online commerce industry. The event will constitute 2 Panel Discussions and 4 Entrepreneurial Talks.

The discussions aim to deliberate upon current issues that grip the startup scene as well as resolve questions that frequently cross our minds. The participants will be witness to entrepreneurial talks that will give us an insight into the journey of industry chieftains and how they made it big. The views from venture capitalists will add a new dimension to the conversation.
