Has its own bus terminus , very own market place, Schools , Mandir and variety of Restaurants. Very near to Big Bazaar , Diamond plaza and other shopping malls. Only minus points are menace of mosquitoes and water logging in the area. Dum Dum Park is a peaceful area as far as security is concerned. Residents should take some initiatives to decorate the approach as it is surrounded by slums. Well anyway one of the best in kolkata.
