This is an old historical temple dedicated to Lord Shiva & is popularly known as Dugdeshwar Nath Temple (Jyotirling of Shiva) in Rudrapur Township. The temple history dates back to 1805 BC. It was constructed by King Rudrasen, & it is believed that the place also got its name after the King. The temple has been constructed following the octagonal way of pagoda (Buddhist). A fair frequented by number of devotees, is held here annually on the occasion of Shivratri.
