DSS Takara Bio India Pvt. Ltd. is a joint venture established in 2011 between DSS Imagetech Pvt. Ltd. and Takara Bio Inc. done with an aim to manufacture and market Takara Bio and Clontech branded research kits and reagents in India. This joint venture would bring to the doorstep of the Indian Scientific Community world class kits and reagents making them readily available.

DSS Imagetech Pvt. Ltd. (Formerly known as Darbara Singh & Sons) has been serving the Indian life sciences research fraternity since the past 50 years as a supplier of research equipment and consumables from world-renowned companies from around the globe. DSS Imagetech Pvt. Ltd. has been representing Takara Bio Inc., Japan and Clontech Laboratories Inc., a Takara Bio Company in India since 2005.

Our corporate office is located in New Delhi, and our manufacturing facility is in the same location (Details under Division section). We have presence in 9 major cities in India (Delhi, Chandigarh, Kolkata, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Trivandrum) and sales representatives in some others. We have a team of highly qualified people, consisting of a dedicated and scientifically qualified sales force, application specialists, and technological know-how from Japan. Our logistics team is very strong and experienced in handling both instrument and consumables.

Your support to us through the years since 2005 has made this joint venture a possibility. With this new joint venture, we would like to continue to nurture the relationship we have established with you for Takara Bio and Clontech branded products. Additionally, the comprehensive product lines from the world-class partners, Exiqon, Macherey-Nagel, IBL, and Promocell products are also representing by our entity — DSS Takara Bio India Pvt. Ltd.
