Dr.Guru's pain care clinic is a part of GV medical care which also includes another speciality clinic 'Tender palliative care clinic'. Dr.R.Gurumoorthi. MD.FIPM is the director for this speciality clinics. He did his MBBS from stanley medical college, Chennai, MD[Anesthesiology] from King George Medical University, Lucknow. He did his fellowship in pain management under Dr.Gautam das, Director, Daradia - The pain clinic, Kolkata and chief executive editor, Indian journal of pain. He is part of various national and international courses and conferences. he is also author of many pain management books. He had started his own pain and palliative care unit which have interventional pain management suite including c arm, Radiofrequency generator and ozone generator. This unit is capable of doing day care procedures with adequate safety.
