Dr. Satyakant Trivedi, A Bhopal based young dynamic psychiatrist, has done his residency in Psychiatry from the prestigious college of the Indian subcontinent “Kasturba Medical College”, Manipal ( Has been ranked among the top 3 medical college in the country by India Today & The Hindu). Of all the specialties in Medicine, handling mental health was something which Dr.Trivedi wanted to pursue further. Understanding people and helping them to resolve issues have been his passion. This has added impetus to his career and made Dr. Trivedi specialize in Psychiatry.
Stigma and lack of awareness regarding mental illness are the most important barriers for the treatment of mentally ill. He has started MADHYA PRADESH MANSIK ROG JAAGRUKTA ABHIYAN”. Under this campaign he has been conducting several public awareness programmes, lectures in various cities of Madhya Pradesh. He is doing live TV shows on mental health issues to break the stigma.
He has been presenting various papers in national and international conferences. Among other sub-divisions in Psychiatry, Dr.Trivedi's interest is in Depression, Child Psychiatry, Alcohol & Drug De-addiction, and Schizophrenia, Anxiety disorders, Emotional distress due to separation, Obsessive compulsive disorder and Sexual problems.


His approach is a combination of pharmacological (with medications) and non pharmacological (like counselling, psychotherapy) methods and which collectively help in bringing the much needed mental and physical balance. His aim is to help his patients perform well in all aspects of his life.
