Dhigawa Mandi

Dhigawa Mandi also known as Dhigawa Jattan is the town located in the Bhiwani district of Haryana, India. It is on the National Highway 14 near to Loharu on Delhi Pilani Route.There are five schools in the town, the Arya senior secondary school, the Shiv senior secondary school, the Genius senior secondary school, the Government secondary senior school, and the BDM Institute. All of them are well known schools in the town and surrounding villages. Dhigawa is famous for its grain business in nearby area. Also there is BEd college in the town serving in the field of education.There are lots of temple in this town, some of them are Dada Bhomiya (Bhayia) Mandir, Shri Krishna Parnami Mandir, Ram Mandir, Shiv Mandir, shyam mandir & shri Balaji Mandir (Bal Club). It is said that in Dada Bhomiya Temple people from all corner of country comes with their wishes.Dhigawa Mandi is a peaceful town. This village is famous for its grain market as this is serving villages of around 30 km radius particularly serving the villages of Rajasthan. Also the area being cultivated by sprinkler irrigation this town is a base for the all needs of farmers like seeds, pesticides, cultivation machines and their repairs etc. Being a hub for commercial activities, the transportation of goods is also a major activity and for the same there are no. of Trucks/TATA 407/ Tractor trolleys etc. in the village. The transportation facility from/to Delhi and Pilani is also good one as there are Bus services as well as taxi services to serve the purpose and alsmost 1000 people travel from/to the town daily basis. This town is famous for international players (Shakti Singh - Discus thrower and Shot putter, Anil Sangwan - Discus and Javelin thrower), chartered accountants, doctors (Dr. Vinod Jangra MS) and engineers (Hanuman Prasad Jangra, Civil Engineer working in Railways as Class I officer), Dr. Seema Sharma(MBBS,MD- Now working at Rohtak PGI).
