Devi's Music Ashram

Devi music centre (ashram) is a place to celebrate life with music, dance and meditation.
Music is said to be the highest form of art and dance is one of its essencials. It is also said that dance is always present in every human being and when some one is dancing
he or she is connecting himself
or herself with the very core of
the existence. Existence is
also musical and it is a dancing
reality.
Meditation is a very simple
thing. it is a device which
makes you closer to the
soul of your being. The soul
is said - SAT CHIT ANAND. SAT means real, CHIT means consciousness and ANAND means blissfulness. This soul is an evergreen reality. Indian philosophy conceptualizes this and many great RISHIES (Sages) have experienced this.
In a sense yoga is meant for the union of our finite individuality with the infinite universal divinity.
Yoga is a Sanskrit word which means union.

In Indian tradition, there are many others and different paths too which go to the same divinity. We can explore and experience this di vinity sitting in the lap of this very special place - Ri shikesh. The air of rishikesh is very enlighteing, every one can feel it.
Devi's Music Centre (Ashram) will arrange many events time to time such as musical concerts, Dance performances, kirtan, painting and photography exhibition, book fair, displaying of classic movies on big screen, daily yoga and meditation practices , music and dance classes etc. We would include many other creative activities also in a very natural way. In nutshell, a very warm, loving, calm, beautiful, friendly and energetic environment is emerging in the music ashram. Healthy food and good accommodation will also be provided to the spiritual seekers.
