The Department of Civil Engineering offers Doctoral Programme, Postgraduate Programme and Undergraduate Programmme in Civil Engineering.

The well-qualified faculty members of the Department of Civil Engineering are holders of Ph.D./M.Tech. degrees. A number of faculty members holding M.Tech degrees are pursuing their Ph.Ds. from reputed institutes across India. The Department comprises of a number of divisions viz. Construction Technology, Structural Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Material Testing, Cement & Concrete Technology, Geological & Geotechnical Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Water Resources Engineering and Surveying.

The Department offers various scientific laboratory testing and consultancy services in all the divisions, using well equipped and state of the art laboratories. The main feature of the Undergraduate course is its extensive practical training on construction sites and various Civil Engineering projects.
