De Nobili School, Sijua

De Nobili School is run by the Jesuits at Sijua in the Dhanbad district of Jharkhand, India. Founded in 1975, it is a branch of the De Nobili Schools Group. Though the students are charged a tuition fee, it is supported by Bharat Coking Coal Limited. The school is named after Jesuit Roberto De Nobili who was the first foreigner to master Sanskrit, incognito, in 16th century Madurai.
