Don Bosco Institute of Information & Communication Excellence (DBIICE) is an educational wing of Don Bosco MEDIA, that is part of distinguished educational institutions of Don Bosco that are spread all over the world. It is distinctly dedicated to create media professional with social consciousness and sense of values. DBIICE runs three media-related diploma courses affiliated to Tamilnadu Open University. DBIICE provides higher education opportunity in the field of information, communication and media. It aims to educate poor young people in media with social consciousness and values. The centre offers Visual Editing (Apple Final Cut Pro), Animation and Graphics (Multimedia) and Sound Engineering. On completion of the course students receive University certificates and job placements. This is the only institute with University recognition in the state to have revolutionized media studies by making it accessible to the poor.
