DAV Public School, MCL, Samaleswari Open Cast Project, Hilltop Colony, Brajrajnagar, Dist:- Jharsuguda (Odisha)is a premier institution under the patronage of MCL with classes from LKG to Secondary level. We started our sacred mission with 20 students in the year 1998.
The school organizes exhibitions in Science, Art & Craft, Literature and Social Science every year on the eve of Children's Day. On these occasions, the school has been visited by eminent personalities and experts from different fields and students of neighbouring schools.

The school starts with the morning assembly in a solemn atmosphere at 7:15am and gets over at 1:30pm with Shantipath. Every Saturday, we conduct Hawan along with students. Regular Yoga classes are conducted in the school to give a complete shape to the personality of the students. We have been organizing extra and remedial classes beyond the school hours to provide the students exam-oriented and capsulated tips for their time bound improvement.

Regular Parent-Teacher meetings are conducted to keep the parents informed about their wards’ development and guide them to take necessary steps. We have an Eco Club in our school and the school plans to set up a Science Club, Language Lab and a Health Club.

We have been the harbinger of learning innovations by nourishing the children from their beginning in the school. We candidly declare that all out efforts will be taken for the integrated growth and development of the children and to prepare them to face all future challenges in the emerging generation.
