Corporate Law Society, NLU Jodhpur

CLS is a student-run initative at National Law University, Jodphur, that aims at promoting an understanding of practical aspects of corporate and commercial laws among students that goes beyond the scope of classroom teaching. Our technical sessions usually address topics that are dealt with commonly by legal professionals in law firms, such as related party transactions, legal due diligence, basics of competition law etc.

These are usually followed by informal sessions with the speaker, wherein we provide students an exclusive opportunity to raise any and all queries about pursuing career opportunites in corporate law, such as CV drafting, do’s-and-don’t’s for interviews, securing internship opportunities etc. Additionally, since most of our speakers have pursued foreign studies successfully, they also address student queries with respect to pursuing an LL.M. degree from foreign universities.
