Columbia Asia Hospital – Taiping is located in northern Perak within the heritage town of Taiping. The multi-specialty hospital is designed to fill the daily needs of patients, ranging from childbirth and broken bones to surgery and internal medicine. The hospital is accessible through the PLUS North-South Highway via the Changkat Jering exit as well as the Kamunting/Taiping Utara exit.

Launched in mid-August 2008, the hospital is staffed with highly-trained doctors, nurses and paramedical personnel. It offers specialty clinical care and management of prevalent diseases in the locality, including surgical procedures and intensive care.

The hospital also has a 24-hour emergency care and appropriate administrative and ancillary services (clinical laboratory, radiology, rehabilitation and pharmacy services). On top of that, the hospital operates with Columbia Asia’s proprietary software operating systems, including electronic medical records, a hospital information, billing system and a queuing system.
