College of Dairy Science & Technology, Thiruvananthapuram

The College of Dairy Science & Technology, Thiruvananthapuram (popularly known as Trivandrum Dairy Science College) is a constituent professional college under the Faculty of Dairy Science and Technology of Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University head quartered at Pookode in Wayanad district. The institution is presently located at its temporary campus in KELTRON Equipment Complex, Karakulam, Thiruvananthapuram since 14.09.2015. It will be shifted to its permanent campus in Vithura, Thiruvananthapuram after creating the required infrastructural facilities.

This is the second of its kind in the state offering 4 year B.Tech programme (under the Government/University sector) in the discipline of Dairy Science and Technology following I.C.A.R pattern. The present student intake (through the Common Engineering Entrance Examination-KEAM conducted by Government of Kerala) is 20.

The B.Tech programme is offered in eight semesters with total credits apportioned to Dairy Technology, Dairy Engineering, Dairy Microbiology, Dairy Chemistry, Dairy Business Management and Dairy Husbandry disciplines with due weightage for each.
