Art is what makes us human.. whether you are someone who needs art to nourish yourself at the end of a crazy day, or uses it as a means to express your inner state, dreams and aspirations, or just to pass the time and engage in something outside of yourself - you need art!
Knowingly or unconsciously, you engage with it - from carefully choosing the paintings on your wall, compiling your personal playlist or watching movies that make you laugh, cry or think about what you can do to make the world a better place.
DANCE is that form of art that appeals to us through our bodies and senses - yes, it is visual and sensorial , but it is also primal. When you watch a dancer leap or fall onstage- you leap and fall with us. When you watch the body of the performer reverberate with strength, power, fragility, desire or devotion... you move with us. Watching live movement performance transforms you - if even for a second! Whether you know it or not, your entire being is effected by the experience of dance performed before your eyes.
As contemporary dancers we strive to tell the stories of today , from funny love tales to the hilarity of children in a playground and from the feeling of devotion to our personal Gods, to the chaos of the globalized chaotic urban space - all stories are relevant to the lives of 21st Century human beings.
We use the dancing body to bring these moments alive for you . Though we seek to bring to you our art , we do it in accessible and easy ways. You may be entertained or moved, you may even be inspired... but you will definitely be brought into the moment , through a physical and throbbing sensorial experience.
Though we make work for a live audience , we create and collaborate with artists from varied fields such as film, music, fashion and design and are open to new ways and canvasses within the realm of contemporary art and movement.
