Christ the King Inter College, managed and administered by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Agra Education Society, is a minority christian educational institution, which.was begun on 3rd July 1972 by The late Most Reverend Dr. Dominic Athaide (OFM Cap),the then Archbishop of Agra. Msgr. Thomas K.C., thefounder Principal was ably supported by Rev. Sister Louis, Prudentia and Norbertina, the pioneer members of the Franciscan Sisters of St. Joseph from Chennai. The school was conducted in rented buildings!till June 1978. The present premise was inaugurated in July 1978. Again in July 1985, school got affiliatedto the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi and the maiden batch of theICSE came out in flying colours in May 1987. Concrete steps were taken.from April 2007, with thenew Archbishop in the helm of affairs, to upgrade andexpand the school. Most Rev. Dr. Albert D'SouzaI procured a new plot of land in September 2007 to relocatethe Primary Section. On 15th Aug. 2008 the constructionof the first phase of Christ the King Primary Schoolcommenced. On 3rd July 2009 the K.G. Section and in July 2010 classes I to ill were moved into the new building.The entire primary section i.e. LKG to V, was relocated in the new ~pus by April 2012.
