Nagarjuna Education Society was established in the year 1968 by the well known philanthropic members of Guntur Society. Guntur is referred to as the Education Capital of Andhra Pradesh, largely due to the Eight Institutions established and maintained by the Nagarjuna Education Society. Thus CHIPS is in the company of R.V.R & J.C. College of Engineering, Guntur a thrice accredited Engineering Institution and the J. K. C. College, a NAAC accredited autonomous Institution providing UG and PG Education in Arts, Sciences and Literature.

CHIPS

CHEBROLU HANUMAIAH INSTITUTE OF PHARMACEUTICAL SCIENCES (CHIPS) was established in the year 2005 by the well known Philanthropic Society, Nagarjuna Education Society. The Society is also running another 8 Prestigious Institutions like R.V.R & J.C. College of Engineering & J.K. C. College in the Guntur District. CHIPS is one of the well developing Institution under the able management of N.E.S offering Courses like B. Pharmacy and M. Pharmacy. It is affiliated to Acharya Nagarjuna University and approved by A.I.C.T. E & P.C. I, New Delhi. The college is established in a spacious and ambient three storied building at Chowdavaram adjacent to R.V.R & J.C. College of Engineering. The Institute has got excellent infrastructure with well equipped Laboratories, Pilot plant, Instrumentation Lab, Medicinal Plant Garden, Animal House, Drug Museum, Computer and Language Lab and an excellent digital library facilities lead the students to undergo intense training on their course curricular and with the eminent & expertised faculty, the students are inspired and guide to carryout Research Projects in the thrust areas of Pharmacy. CHIPS, thus inherited the legacy of Nagarjuna Education Society, R.V.R & J.C. College of Engineering. and J. K. C College and had grown into a self sufficient Institution with buildings, Laboratories and Human resources, exceeding the norms and standards of AICTE and PCI, in the very second year of its existence. Today, it offers B. Pharm and M. Pharm (Pharmaceutics) and M.Pharm (Pharmaceutical Analysis). Quality teaching and administration are the traditional strengths of N.E.S run Institutions and falling in live CHIPS secured the highest results in the first year of existence itself and bagged several top ranks.

INFRASTRUCTURE
The Institution has excellent building Infrastructure, well equipped labs, Pilot plant, Instrumentation Lab, Medicinal Plant garden, Animal house, Drug Museum, Computer and Language labs and an excellent digital library besides all amenities to make Campus life comfortable and enjoyable.

FACULTY
The Faculty members are also availing the facilities in the college to pursue their Doctoral Programmes. On the Human resources front the college has faculty, qualified and experienced as per AICTE/PCI norms. They are enthusiastic enough to excel in their curricular work and a bit of research activities in the thrust areas in Pharmacy. Almost everyone has registered for Ph. D, with partial financial support from the Management.

RESULTS & PLACEMENTS:
The first and second batches that have come out in 2009 & 2010 are reasonably well placed in Indian pharma Industries, like Aurobindo, Orchid, Hetero drugs etc., through the college Placement cell. A few have gone abroad for further studies, While many of them got admissions to M.Pharmacy Course through GPAT/PGECET. We are earnestly pursue our motto “FROM CONCEPT TO CREATION” with grater efforts and dedication.
